Ingredients:
Oil

Shredded Coconut

Instructions:
- Wash and cut ginger into small pieces. Heat 1 tsp of oil and fry ginger till raw smell goes off. Remove from stove. Heat remaining 1 tsp Oil in the same pan. Add red chillies, tamarind and urad dal. Fry till urad dal turns golden colour. Add asafoetida powder.
- Switch of the stove and add salt, jaggery and shredded coconut. Allow it to cool. Grind it to coarse paste by adding very little water.
