Paneer, Indian cottage cheese is rich in nutrients. This is the first time I cooked paneer and sweet corn together. Paneer and sweet corn have blended well. It can be served along with raita. It is mild and always a big hit among kids. It can be taken as a lunch box meal. Very easy and quick recipe. Kid's Favorite.Preparation Time : 15 mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins | Yields : 2 Recipe Category: Main Recipe Cuisine: North Indian Author: Nithya Ingredients: Cooked Basmati Rice: 1 Cup Paneer cubed : 1/2 Cup Cooked sweet corn : 1/2 Cup Unsalted butter : 1 tbsp Garam masala powder : 1 tsp Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds : 1/2 tsp Onions chopped : 1/2 Cup Finely chopped Ginger garlic : 3 tsp Green chillies : 3 Cloves : 2 Cinnamon stick : 1 inch Cardamom : 1 Salt : As needed Coriander Leaves : For Garnishing Instructions:
1.Heat butter in the pan and add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick and cardamom.
When they splutter, add finely chopped ginger garlic and fry for 2 mins till raw smell goes off
2.Add onions and green chillies and fry till onions turn translucent.
3.Now add paneer, sweet corn, garam masala powder and saute for 3-4 mins in medium flame. 4.Mix Rice with this and garnish with coriander leaves. Tips: Adjust chillies to your taste. |
