Kuzhi Paniyaram is a south Indian Breakfast prepared from Dosa batter. Usually it is prepared after 5th day of grinding dosa batter. No side dish is required for this seasoned paniyaram.But I prefer having this paniyaram with peanut chutney. Please check below for step-wise instructions and pictures for preparing Kuzhi Paniyaram

Ingredients:
2.5 Cups

4 tbsp

Channa dal and Urad dal
|
1 tsp each

Ginger finely chopped
|
1 tbsp
|
Green chillies finely chopped
|

Onions chopped
|
1/2 Cup

Coriander leaves chopped
|
4 stalks
|
Salt
|
Instructions:
- Heat 1 tbsp of Oil in a pan. Add channa dal and urad dal. Fry till channa dal turn golden colour.Add onions, green chilly and garlic. Fry till onions turn translucent. Add enough salt.
- Add this fried items and coriander leaves to dosa batter. Mix well
- Heat Paniyaram pan. Add 1/4 tsp of oil in each hole.
- Pour dosa batter in each hole. Cover it with lid and cook till paniyaram edges turn golden colour.
- Reduce to low flame and Carefully turn paniyaram using stainless rod or spoon
- Cook till other side also turns golden colour or when the stainless rod inserted in the centre of paniyaram should come clean.
- Enjoy paniyaram with peanut chutney or coconut chutney
