Cauliflower Green peas gravy

Cauliflower and green peas cooked together in spicy mixture makes an excellent side dish to chappathi /Roti. An easy and quick gravy.Please check below for step wise instructions for preparing Cauliflower Green peas gravy.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins 
Ready In: 30 mins 
Yields: 3 Servings

Oil1 tbsp
Mustard1/4 tsp
Onions chopped1/2 Cup
Tomatoes chopped 1/4 Cup
Cauliflower florets1 Cup
Frozen Green peas thawed          1/2 Cup
Coriander Leaves2 stalks

To Grind:
Green chillies                                  2
Ginger chopped1 tbsp
Garlic chopped1 tbsp
Fennel Seeds1 tsp


  • Grind all the ingredients given under "To Grind" table.

  • Cut cauliflower into small florets and soak in boiled water for 5 minutes to remove germs.

  • Heat oil in the pan and add mustard. When they splutter, add onions. Fry till onions turn translucent. Add tomato and fry till tomatoes turn mushy.

  • Add green peas and cauliflower. Fry for 2 mins. Add grind-ed mixture, salt and 1/2 Cup water. Allow it to boil and cook for 5 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Adjust green chillies to your taste
