|Oil||1 tbsp + 2 tsp|
|Ginger and garlic finely chopped||1 tbsp|
|Green chillies slit open||2|
|Onions chopped||1/2 Cup|
|Tomatoes chopped||1/2 Cup|
|Chilli powder||2 tsp|
|Garam masala powder||1 tsp|
|Coriander leaves chopped||2 stalks|
- Wash and remove the crown and end part of okra. Dry it in paper towel for 5 mins to remove moisture. cut into 1 inch pieces. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add cut okra and fry in medium flame for 5-6 mins till okra is half cooked. Remove from stove.
- Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic and slit open green chillies. Fry till raw smell goes off. Add onions and fry till they turn translucent.
- Add tomatoes and fry till they turn mushy. Add chilli powder followed by okra.
- Add garam masala powder, 1/2 cup of water and cook till okra is fully cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves.
