Yields: 20 Nos.
Ingredients:
Unsalted butter | 4 tbsp | 1/2 Cup |
Dry Milk Powder | 2 Cups |
Sweetened Condensed Milk | 14 oz | 1 Can |
Pistachios | For Garnishing |
Instructions:
- Take butter in a big microwave safe bowl. Microwave it for 45 secs to 1 min till the butter is melted.
- Add 2 cups of dry milk powder and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well and microwave it for a min. Remove from microwave and mix well with a spoon or ladle.
- Repeat the process of cooking in microwave for a min and mixing with spoon twice. Totally the peda should be kept in microwave for 3 mins (1 min each time for 3 times).
- Allow the mixture to cool. (Roughly 10 mins). Apply butter in your hands and grease a tray with butter.Take a small portion of mixture and make lemon size balls. Arrange it in a tray. Once all the balls are made, flatten the balls and garnish with your favourite nuts.

Pistachios can be replaced with almonds, cashews and raisins.
Milk Peda can also be made into different shapes by rolling into thin sheet using rolling pin and cutting into desired shapes using cookie cutter.
