Mustard

1/4 tsp

Cumin seeds

1/2 tsp

Curry leaves

Coriander powder

Chilli powder

1 tsp

Onions chopped

1/2 cup
|
Instructions:
- Heat oil in the pan and add mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- When they splutter add onions and fry it in a low flame till the onion turns golden brown colour.
- Add drumstick leaves, salt, chilli powder and coriander powder and fry it till the drumstick leaves are cooked.
- Add cooked toor dhal and fry it for 2 mins in medium flame.

Nithya.. I love kootu varities.This sounds different to me.Amma usually take one cup of boiled toor dal and add to the keerai.
