Easy Potato Fry recipe. The flavour of curry leaves, cumin seeds combined with potatoes makes a good side dish for Sambar or paruppu sadham or curd rice

Ingredients:
Potato (Medium size) | 4 |
Oil | 2 tbsp |
Mustard | 1/4 tsp |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 tsp |
Curry leaves | 4 |
Salt | |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 tsp |
Chilli Powder | 1 tsp |
Coriander Powder | 1/2 tsp |
Instructions:
- Heat oil in the pan and add mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- When they splutter add chopped potato and fry it in low flame.
- Close the pan with lid and stir it frequently till potatoes are cooked. check more frequently otherwise the potatoes will stick to the pan.
- Add salt, Turmeric Powder,Chilli Powder and Coriander Powder and mix well.Fry for 2 mins till turmeric raw smell goes off. Enjoy with sambar rice.
