Potato Fry





Easy Potato Fry recipe. The flavour of curry leaves, cumin seeds combined with potatoes makes a good side dish for Sambar or paruppu sadham or curd rice







Preparation Time:      5 mins
Cook Time :               10 mins
Ready in :                  15 mins


Ingredients:
Potato (Medium size) 4
Oil 2 tbsp
Mustard 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds1/2 tsp
Curry leaves4
Salt
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp







Instructions:

  • Heat oil in the pan and add mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves.

  • When they splutter add chopped potato and fry it in low flame.

  • Close the pan with lid and stir it frequently till potatoes are cooked. check more frequently otherwise the potatoes will stick to the pan.

  • Add salt, Turmeric Powder,Chilli Powder and Coriander Powder and mix well.Fry for 2 mins till turmeric raw smell goes off. Enjoy with sambar rice.
