Rice, roti and chapati Side dishPreparation Time : 5 mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins | Yields : 2 Recipe Category: Side dish Recipe Cuisine: South Indian Author: Nithya Ingredients: Oil : 1 tbsp Mustard : 1/4 tsp Curry leaves : 5 Ginger and garlic finely chopped : 1 tbsp Onions chopped : 1/2 Cup Cauliflower small florets : 20 Coriander powder : 1/2 tsp Salt : As needed Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp Chilli powder : 2 tsp Coriander leaves chopped : For Garnishing
1. Cut cauliflower into small florets. Soak in boiling water for 5 mins to remove germs. Strain the water and keep the cauliflower florets ready.
4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chillii powder and salt. Fry till raw smell goes off. Switch off the stove. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Tips:
Ginger and garlic can be replaced by ginger garlic paste
To add more masala flavour, add 1 tsp of garam masala powder along with other dry powders. |
