Instant Ragi Dosa - Millets Crepe



My mom regularly uses millet. She makes a lot of dishes with Millet. Ragi Dosa is a simple and healthy dish prepared with Ragi Flour and Atta.  It is an instant dosa.The best thing is no need to grind and no need to wait for fermentation. Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins 
Ready In: 25 mins
Yields : 6 Dosa

Ingredients:
Ragi Flour      
1 Cup
Atta
1/2 Cup
Onions Chopped 
1/2 Cup
Ginger finely chopped
1 tsp
Curry leaves chopped 
2
Green chillies chopped 
2
Coriander leaves chopped 
2 stalks
Salt


Instructions:

  • Mix all the ingredients along with water. The batter should be little watery when compared to normal dosa batter.Water can be replaced with butter milk.


  • Heat dosa tava in medium flame . Sprinkle water and check whether the dosa tava is hot. Take half cup of batter and spread evenly starting from centre. Pour oil on dosa circumference. when the colour of dosa changes in some areas, turn on other side and cook for a min.


Tips:
  • Water can be replaced with butter milk
  • Variations can be done by adding cumin seeds.
  • Adding ginger is optional

  1. Lovely flavors. You know I seldom make such dishes because I always recall my mum's process, that grinding,soaking etc etc.

    This is perfect recipe, all mixing and making. Will make for other half for his dinner, light meal for night.
