Chana Gravy | Chana Masala

Chana Gravy
Chickpeas is rich in proteins . It is called as Kondakadalai in tamil, shanaga in telugu and kala chana in hindi. This Chana gravy uses simple and less ingredients and it can be prepared quickly. It goes well with chappati / roti. My mom grinds 2-3 tbsp of cooked chickpeas along with other masala items. It serves two purposes. The first purpose is it thickens the gravy. The second purpose is to make our toddlers eat. Please check below for step by step instructions and pictures for preparing Chana Gravy.

  4. You know me and my shortcut to cooking. I buy the ready made chickpeas which comes in tins because it saves my time. I have to totally agree that the masala bit fits chappati. I don't make chappati so its with bread.

    Really attractive and nice.
