Ingredients:
Cabbage chopped | 1.5 Cups |
Green Peas Cooked | 1/2 Cup |
Oil | 2 tsp |
Mustard | 1/4 tsp |
Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Onions chopped | 1/2 Cup |
Green chilly finely chopped | 2 |
Ginger finely chopped | 1 tsp |
Salt | As needed |
Coriander Leaves | For Garnishing |
Instructions:
- Heat Oil in a pan. Add mustard and allow it to splutter. Add cumin seeds and fry for a min. Add finely chopped onions, green chilly and ginger. Fry till onions turn translucent.
- Add chopped cabbage and green peas. Fry till cabbage is cooked. Add salt and garnish with coriander leaves.

Tips:
Adjust green chillies to your taste.
Green chillies and ginger can be ground using mixie or mortar and pestle instead of finely chopping.

Cabbage is very popular at home, not expensive and we like the taste. I shall try this combo with green peas, after all when its rice, this wonderful side dish will be perfect.
