Instructions:
- Grease a plate / tray with 1 tsp of ghee and keep it ready. Gather all the ingredients and keep it ready. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Dry roast besan flour for around 3 to 4 mins till nice aroma comes. Switch off the stove. Add coconut, milk, sugar and mix it.
- Add ghee also and mix it.Now again switch on the stove. Keep stirring the burfi in medium or low flame till the batter starts leaving the pan and ghee starts to ooze out. It will take around 15 to 20 mins in medium flame.
- Pour this batter in the greased plate. Level it using spatula or butter paper. Draw lines using knife after 5 mins when it is warm.(This will help to easily cut the burfi once it cools down). Allow it to cool and cut into shapes.

Tips:
Roast besan flour in low flame. Other ingredients are added and mixed after switching off the stove. Switch on the stove again once all the ingredients are mixed.
Once cooled, store the sweets in air tight container.
These sweets stay fresh for about 3 to 4 days when stored at room temperature.
