Sathu Maavu Urundai | Health Mix Laddu  When I posted sathu maavu powder, I promised I will soon post Sathu Maavu Laddu. Once the sathu maavu powder is prepared, this laddu is very easy to prepare. It is quite addictive too.I have already posted Ragi Chocolate LadduMaa LadduPasi paruppu Laddu and Urad dal Laddu. These sweets are rich in nutrients and easy to prepare. It stays fresh for about a week. Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 5 mins
Yields: 10 Laddu 
Sathu Maavu Urundai

Ingredients:
1 Cup
Dark Brown Sugar
1 Cup
Ghee
As needed

Instructions:
Heat a frying pan. Add sathu maavu powder and roast it in low flame for 3 to 4 mins till you get nice aroma. Transfer roasted sathu maavu powder to a mixing bowl. Add brown sugar and mix it.

Heat ghee in a pan. Add hot ghee little by little till the powders hold together. shape into small balls of lemon size by holding it in hand as shown below and place the laddu's in a tray.

Tips:
Brown sugar can be replaced with jaggery powder.
Store it in air tight container for a week.
I have freshly prepared ghee from butter. I used approx. 6 tbsp of butter.
