Tri colour Pulao is prepared by cooking carrots, green peas and corn together with Basmati Rice. What a colour combination? Green, yellow and orange. A feast to eyes. It will surely attracts Kids. Instructions:
- Soak Basmati rice for 1 hour or as per instructions given in rice bag
- Heat 1.5 tbsp of Oil in the cooker. Add cinnamon, cloves,cardamom, anistar and fennel seeds.After 2 mins add green chillies, ginger and garlic. Fry till raw smell goes off.
- Add carrots, peas and corn. Fry for 2 mins.
- Add salt, basmati rice and 3 Cups water. For exact water measurement check your basmati rice bag. Pressure cook for 3 whistles
- Heat 1/2 tbsp of Oil in pan. Add onions and fry till they translucent. Garnish pulao with fried onions and roasted cashews.
- Enjoy Tri colour pulao .
Tips:
Fresh ginger and garlic can be replaced by ginger garlic paste.
