Paneer is Indian cottage cheese. Paneer bhurji is a simple dry curry prepared as a side dish to chapati or roti. Paneer burji also goes well with curd rice. I had some fresh home made paneer left after preparing paneer paratha, so prepared this quick and easy side dish for chapati. Ginger and garlic finely chopped
Green chillies slit open
Coriander leaves chopped
- Heat oil in a pan. Add finely chopped ginger,garlic and green chillies. When raw smell goes off, add onions. Fry till they turn translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry till they turn mushy. Add capsicum and fry for 2 mins.
- Add shredded paneer and fry till paneer is cooked. Add salt, coriander powder and chilli powder. Fry for 2 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves.
