Apple helps to reduce cholesterol, prevents gallstones and control the weight. Apple chutney is a quick healthy dip that can be prepared within 10 mins. Indian Apple Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:
Table 1: To Grind
Granny smith apples  cubed  
1 Cup
Desiccated Coconut  
2 tbsp
Pottu Kadalai
2 tbsp
Coriander leaves
1 stalk
Green chilly
2
Salt
Ginger chopped
1 tsp

Table 2: To Temper
Oil                              
2 tbsp
Mustard
1/4 tsp
Red chilly
1
Curry leaves
2
Urad Dhal
1 tsp

Instructions:
  • Peel the outer skin of apple and remove the seeds. Cube the granny smith apples.
  • Grind all the ingredients under "To Grind" Table.
  • Heat Oil in the pan and add mustard, Red chilly, urad dhal and curry leaves. Fry till Urad dal turns golden colour. 
  • Remove from stove and  add it to the chutney.

Tips:
Choose granny smith apple for best results
Adjust green chilly to your taste.
