Yields: 2 servings
Ingredients:
Curd | Yogurt | 1 Cup |
Oil | 1 tbsp |
Mustard | Kadugu | 1/4 tsp |
Cumin seeds | Seeragam | 1/2 tsp |
Ginger and garlic finely chopped | 2 tsp |
Green chillies finely chopped | 2 |
Curry Leaves | 3-5 |
Onions chopped | 1/4 Cup |
Turmeric powder | 1 tsp |
Salt | As needed |
Instructions:
- Mix salt with yogurt and keep it ready. Only if the yogurt is thick as in below picture, then add 1/4 Cup water, salt and whisk well.
- Heat Oil in a pan. Add mustard and allow it to splutter. Add cumin seeds and fry for a min.
- Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves and green chilli and fry till raw smell goes off. Add onions and fry till they turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder and fry till raw smell goes off. Switch off the stove and add it to curd.

Tips:
Adjust green chillies to your taste.
Don't replace fresh ginger and garlic with ginger garlic paste.Minced pieces of ginger and garlic gives a unique taste to this kuzhambu.
