Yields: 3 Sandwich
Ingredients:
Bread slices | 6 |
Ripe Avocado | 1 |
Green Chutney | As needed |
Carrot pieces | 1/4 Cup |
Cabbage pieces | 1/4 Cup |
Onion pieces | 1/4 Cup |
Capsicum | Bell Pepper | 1/4 Cup |
Ginger | 1 tsp |
Green chilli | 1 |
Coriander leaves | 2 stalks |
Freshly ground pepper | 1 tsp |
Salt | As needed |
Instructions:
- Finely chop carrot, cabbage, onion, capsicum, ginger,green chilli and coriander leaves. Add pepper powder and salt. The filling is ready.
- Wash Avocado, cut into two halves and remove the seed.Scoop out the fruit using spoon. If the fruit is firm, then using knife remove the fleshy part from skin. Take 2 bread slices. Apply green chutney on one slice and ripe avocado on another slice. Place the filling on one slice and close it with other.
- Cook in the sandwich maker and serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney
Tips:
Adjust green chilly and pepper powder to your taste.
Lots of healthy flavors for a great beginning. I shall keep this recipe for our brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
