Horsegram is rich in iron. It helps in weight reduction and regulates body temperature in winter. It is called as Ulavalu in telugu and Kollu paruppu in tamil. Please check below for step wise instructions and pictures for making Kollu paruppu dosa.

Ingredients:
Idli Rice

1.5 cups

Horsegram / Kollu paruppu
|
0.5 Cup
|
Salt

Oil For Cooking Dosa

- Wash horse gram and Idli Rice, soak it for 3 hours in water. Grind it in a grinder or mixie to dosa batter by adding enough water. Add 1 tsp of salt. Allow it to ferment for 18 hours.
- Heat dosa tava in medium flame. When dosa tava is hot, take half cup of dosa batter and spread evenly starting from centre. Pour 1 tbsp of Oil on dosa circumference.Close the lid. Cook it for 2 -3 mins till you see the golden spot in some places .
