Pottukadalai Urundai | Maa Laddu
Maa laddoo or Maladdu is prepared with only 3 ingredients - Roasted gram, sugar and ghee. It is an easy and quick healthy sweet. It can be prepared within 10 mins. This is one of my toddler's recent favorite. This makes an excellent school snacks too. Roasted bengal gram is rich in fiber. It is known as pottukadalai in tamil, putnala pappu in telugu. Vegetable Salna
My love for parota ( not paratha) started during my school days. Even though parota will be available in classy shops, the taste of vegetable salna in small restaurants is unbeatable. Parota taste will be exponential when you dunk the parota in salna and taste it after some time. Parota and Salna blend together and gives a unique taste.
