Making kids eat green leaves is a difficult job. Try this spinach chappathi. Kids will love the green colour of this chappathi. Just roll and serve the chappathi. Please check below for step-wise instructions and pictures for making spinach chappathi or palak chappathi.

Ingredients:
Chappathi Flour / Atta

1.5 Cups
|
Oil / Ghee
|
9 tsp
|
Spinach Leaves tightly packed
|
1.5 Cups
|
Green Chilly chopped
|
1
|
Turmeric powder
|
1/4 tsp
|
Cumin powder
|
1/4 tsp
|
Coriander powder
|
1/2 tsp
|
Spinach tightly packed
|
1 Cup
|
Warm water
| |
Salt
|
Instructions:
- Wash spinach leaves and blanch in hot water for 5 minutes. Grind the spinach with green chilly to a smooth paste in a blender.
- Make a soft dough by adding chappathi flour, warm water, grind-ed spinach, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Knead well and allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
- Take a fraction of a dough and make a ball the size of a medium lemon. Flatten the balls to 10-12 inches in diameter using rolling pin.
- Heat dosa tawa and place the flatten dough ball. Drizzle 1/2 tsp of ghee or oil if needed. Cook till golden spots appear on some places. Turn and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil. cook until golden spots appear on the other side also. Repeat the process for remaining flatten dough balls.
- Server Hot
