Palak Chappathi - Spinach Chappathi

Palak Chappathi



Making kids eat green leaves is a difficult job. Try this spinach chappathi. Kids will love the green colour of this chappathi. Just roll and serve the chappathi. Please check below for step-wise instructions and pictures for making spinach chappathi or palak chappathi.







Preparation Time:     15 mins

Ready in :                   30 mins
Yields :                        9 Chappathi 


Ingredients:
Chappathi Flour / Atta
1.5 Cups
Oil / Ghee 
9 tsp
Spinach Leaves tightly packed 
1.5 Cups
Green Chilly chopped
1
Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp
Cumin powder
1/4 tsp
Coriander powder
1/2 tsp
Spinach tightly packed 
1 Cup
Warm water 
Salt


Instructions:
  • Wash spinach leaves and blanch in hot water for 5 minutes. Grind the spinach with green chilly to a smooth paste in a blender.

  • Make a soft dough by adding chappathi flour, warm water, grind-ed spinach, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Knead well and allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.


  •  Take a fraction of a dough and make a ball the size of a medium lemon. Flatten the balls to 10-12 inches in diameter using rolling pin.


  • Heat dosa tawa and place the flatten dough ball. Drizzle 1/2 tsp of ghee or oil if needed. Cook till golden spots appear on some places. Turn and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil. cook until golden spots appear on the other side also. Repeat the process for remaining flatten dough balls.



  •  Server Hot


Tips:
Adjust chillies to your taste.

    i usually just chop the spinach and other greens togetehr and mix in atta
    i have that roti on my space u can check it out
    this one is nice green roti

  5. Superb not only chapatti all the other items are also best especially I like palak paneer because I searched for that all that was adding cream and chasew but urs all dishes are all very healthy
