Spinach is rich in iron and other essential nutrients. This is a simple rice dish with spinach as a main ingredient. Spinach is cooked with Indian spices. It is a one pot meal. Please check below for easy and quick Indian Palak Pulao
Basmati Rice

Instructions:
- Soak Basmati rice for 1 hour or as per instructions given in rice bag
- Heat Oil in the cooker. Add cinnamon, cloves,cardamom, anistar and fennel seeds.After 2 mins add ginger and garlic. Fry till raw smell goes off.
- Add onions and green chillies. Fry till onions turn golden colour
- Wash baby spinach and add it to the cooker. Allow it to cook for 2-3 mins till it shrinks .
- Add turmeric, salt, basmati rice and 2 Cups water. For exact water measurement check the rice bag.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles
- Enjoy Spinach pulao with carrot Raita
Tips:
Fresh ginger and garlic can be replaced by ginger garlic paste.
