Pani Poori
Pani Puri is one of the popular and favourite Street food of India. This famous chaat is termed as Gol gappa in North India. The filing in pani puri is made with cooked chickpeas, cooked potatoes and some spices. Pani is prepared from mint leaves, coriander leaves, tamarind, jaggery and some spices. Entire pani poori is eaten in one go. Kara Boondi
My mom used to make Kara Boondi or Boondi mixture during Deepavali / Diwali festival. She makes larges batches of boondi for Kara boondi, boondi mixture and laddu. She uses big perforated ladle particularly made for preparing boondi. She starts making boondi's in evening and it will go till midnight. Sometimes I used to help my mom in preparing boondi. Kadambam refers to mixture of different things. Kadamba kuzhambu is a mixed vegetable gravy. It is served in Kovil / temples as prasadam. Onions, Garlic and Tomato are not added to this Kuzhambu. From wiki, I learnt drumstick leaves are highly nutritious, being a significant source of beta-carotene, Vitamin C, protein, iron, and potassium. One tablespoon of leaf powder provide 14% of the protein, 40% of the calcium, 23% of the iron and most of the vitamin A needs of a child aged one to three. Yesterday we planned for a trip to nearby beach. So I have packed all the stuff day before yesterday and even scheduled the post. All set to go. But morning when I got up , I was not feeling well and the trip got cancelled. Had breakfast and medicine and went to sleep. I woke up around noon and was thinking what to prepare for lunch. To my surprise, my hubby was busily cooking in the kitchen. My little one was also in the kitchen helping his dad. My hubby told me to not enter the kitchen until he finishes his cooking.  In 30 mins, my hubby told the food is ready and has arranged the dishes as shown in the picture.

Potassium in Banana protects cardiovascular system, guards against high blood pressure and stroke. Consumption of banana helps in digestion. My kid loves banana and it will be always in our grocery shopping list.  My little one won't eat banana, if the banana skin has black marks(too ripe).
